Beautiful 10 year old Garden Bag

Jeff told me that his Hermes Garden bag is, at least, ten years old, and I told him that his bag looks fantastic. True, the bag is a bit worn, but you can't go wrong with Hermes.

 Did you know that  each Hermes bag is hand stitched, buy one craftsman, and can take as long as 18 hours to complete (Anna Johnson, "Handbags").  I guess that's part of the reason why their bags are so pricey.

Quilted Black Handbag

Besides the little black dress, the tweed suit, and her legendary interlocking double-C logo, Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel also created the quilted handbag (Werle p.21) which the lovely lady, pictured above, (who is not Coco Chanel) was kind enough to allow me to take a picture of herself and her Chanel bag.
